This online app* allows you to access information on the German-Jewish history of a select number of places.
You can retrieve your current location on the home page of the app (Geolocation) or enter coordinates into the respective fields by hand. Via 'Show places nearby' you can access information on the history of that place.
Alternatively, you can search for a place via 'Select place' in the Thesaurus database and take that position as a starting point for your research.
The list with the results of your query also contains information on the sources and languages of contents available.
